When adding a new wallet the timezone is managed under Optional settings. By default it is set to UTC / Auto-detect.

In most cases, time zone information is given in the transaction file or API. Divly will automatically convert these transactions into UTC to ensure that everything lines up as expected. This is done to ensure that transactions follow the appropriate order when matching transfers and calculating taxes.

In rare cases, the file export from a wallet or exchange may change dynamically based on the time zone your computer is set to. If this information is not provided in the file export, then you can use this optional setting below to adjust the transaction times when importing into Divly.

Important: This optional setting should only be changed if the time zone is not given in the transaction file you upload and you are aware that it is not UTC. Do not touch this if you are unsure!

I accidently set the wrong wallet time zone

Fear not! This can be rectified on the transaction page in Divly. Do the following:

  1. Navigate to the Transactions page in Divly

  2. Filter by the wallet you set the wrong time zone for

  3. Select all transactions in the list below

  4. Clicked Batch Edits in the top right above the transactions

  5. Set the number of hours under Change transaction time hour and hit Save.
