This guide has been written to help users of Divly import transactions from Bybit. Bybit is not an easy exchange to work with due to the complex setup of the platform being split into two core accounts: 1. Funding, 2. Unified Trading Account (UTA).
The Unified Trading Account was introduced in September 2023 and is imported to Divly best using the Automatic Import (API). Exporting data earlier than this date increases complexity as you will need to also import data via multiple files.
As such, this guide is divided into two sections depending on when you started to trade on Bybit.
If you started trading after 1st September 2023
Here are the steps you need to take to import data from Bybit starting the 1st September 2023 or later.
In Divly, search for Bybit and follow the instructions to add Bybit via the Automatic Import option. Once this is done, all your Unified Trading Account transactions will have imported to Divly.
Now go to Bybit. Check your Funding Account transaction history on Bybit. Make sure to change the dates to show your full transaction history. If you have transactions, then these need to be imported to Divly as well. Examples are "convert" and "flexible savings interest distribution" as seen below.
To import your Funding Account transactions, in Divly add a new wallet and search for Bybit again. This time choose "File Import". Follow the instructions to download a zip file from Bybit. Extract the CSV files, but only import transactions from the file called: Bybit_AssetChangeDetails_fund.
If you used copy trading on Bybit. Please also import the file called: Bybit_tradingTools_copyTradingTradesPLHistory.
Success! Now you can do your taxes :)
Divly will have automatically merged the two imports into one wallet in your account called "Bybit". When updating your transactions in the future, make sure to follow the same procedure by adding a new Bybit wallet in Divly and selecting "Automatic Import" (same again with "File Import" too). Divly will keep appending the new transactions to your existing Bybit wallet automatically.
