Match or merge trades

For most cases Divly will import trades automatically. However, in a few cases when using defi, NFTs, or complex blockchain imports, there may be a need to match certain deposits and withdrawals intro trades.

Divly offers a manual solution for those use cases by following the instructions below.

Match a trade (2 currencies)

To manually match a trade in Divly do the following:

  1. Go to the Transactions page.

  2. Select the relevant Withdrawal and Deposit by clicking the box on the left of each transaction. The currency's must be different.

  3. Click the button Match Into Trade at the top.

Note: The above only works if you are trading currency A for currency B. If you have a trade with 3 or more different currencies, please merge the trade.

Create multi-currency trades (3+ currencies)

This is commonly used when purchasing multiple NFTs in one trade. Divly can't distinguish by the transaction data how much you paid for each specific NFT.

In this case you can merge the trade and split the acquisiton or sale price accordingly. Multiple trades will be created so that every currency (and NFT) is taxed accordingly.

  1. Go to the Transactions page.

  2. Select the relevant Withdrawal(s) and Deposit(s) by clicking the box on the left of each transaction. The currency's must be different.

  3. Click the button Merge at the top.

  4. Choose whether you want to distribute the amounts equally, or set custom amounts.

  5. Click Create Trades.
