Locking your transaction history in Divly

Divly offers a method to lock your transaction history before for a given date. This is done to combat accidental edits or deletions in the future.

We recommend using this feature when:

  1. You have declared for the previous tax year.

  2. You have finished importing and editing transactions up to a specific date.

Tip: Divly will automatically ask if you want to lock the transactions up to the end of the declared tax year. However, you can always choose to unlock or lock transactions if needed.


What happens when you enable the lock?

When you choose a date to lock your transaction history, your account will be affected in the following way:

  • New transactions wont be imported before the given date

  • Existing transactions wont be possible to delete before the given date

  • Existing transactions wont be possible to edit before the given date


How to lock/unlock your transaction history

You can lock or unlock your transactions at any time from the Settings page. You can also change the date from which the transactions are locked in your Divly account.

  1. Click on the account icon in the top right corner of Divly and select Settings in the dropdown.

  2. Click on the tab Tax Settings,

  3. Look for the section Lock edits and changes.

  4. Change the date field so that it suits your needs.

  5. Click Update.
