Create a Divly account
By creating an account with Divly you will be able to automate all of the tax calculations.
Click this link to register and select Individual - I'll manage my own taxes. Provide an email, choosing a password, and agreeing to our user Terms & Conditions. You can also sign up using your Google account.
We highly recommend using Divly on a computer in order to access all of the features.
Note: Divly does not ask for your name or social security number. It's not required to calculate crypto taxes. Feel free to use a protonmail if you want extra privacy.
Set your preferences
After registering with Divly, you will first go through our onboarding process. Please select the country you pay taxes in, the local currency, and preferred language. It's important to choose the right local currency and country as we base all the tax rules and currency conversions on them!
Understanding the sidebar
Once you complete onboarding, you will be presented with a sidebar with four tabs. We will explore these later in the guide, but to summarize them in short:
Overview: This is where you track your crypto portfolio performance and balance.
Wallets: This is where you import transactions and manage your wallets/exchanges.
Transactions: This is where you view transactions and manually add/edit/delete them.
Tax Report: This is where you can track your taxes and download your tax do
